League of Legends Featured Game Modes!

Almost all of us met League of Legends for Summoner’s Rift. We watched a game, or splash arts, or characters, or a friend told us to play, or we downloaded it to play with our girlfriend/boyfriend or friends, we only knew Summoner’s Rift at the beginning, then, new game modes started to come. Let’s take a look at the most popular:

ARAM:

All Random All Mid is a game mode that was originally made by fans. In a custom game, players just went mid without a laning phase, trying to win just going mid. Then Riot made a official map, Howling Abyss. It was released in a Fleljord event. This game mode also has another map, which is just a skin for Howling Abyss, the Bilgewater Bithers Bridge. It was also released in an event, the only difference was the skin map, instead of snow, pirates, instead of common turrets, giant ship canons and, the most amazing one, new and special items that were only designed for this mode. A very fun game, without a doubt.

Nexus Blitz:

This game was just an experiment released on 2018 to test how players would interact with a kind of copy of Summoner’s Rift and Howling Abyss; the map is much shorter than summoner’s but bigger than howling, bigger, not larger. There are 2 junglers and 3 laners, the laners can go mid or bot and the game is basically kill with amazing and interesting mini games. For example, there’s one named scuttle race, the logic about this mini game is, 2 scuttles running, they both try to get the line first, but your team can stop it, just hitting the enemy scuttle. Enemies can do the same, with life goes to 0 the scuttle will get stunned for a few seconds. There’s also an arena where the fights can be 1 v 1, 2 v 2 or no mana cost and low cooldowns 5 v 5. When the game takes longer than expected, the nexus will take life and goes straight to mid to fight until the dead. The only thing missing here is Villemaw from the dead 3 v 3 game mode.

Ultra Rapid Fire (URF):

Urf is literally the most popular rotating game, it is played in the Summoner’s Rift, what makes this game mode so good? You can troll anything you want. But, how? Simple. You have 80% cooldown reduction, no mana costs and earns more gold. The limit is not lv18 anymore, it’s a game mode to have fun and do funny stuffs, like bulding 6 Infinity Edge to run as Jhin around the map, or play Yuumi + Lulu and never die, Morgana and Lux and root everyone without leaving them breath. There’s also a canon to goes much faster to the lane. The options are many!

Of course, there are much more game modes, like Ascension, Doom bots, Black Market Brawlers, One For All, Hunt of the Blood Moon and so on! And there probably are even more game modes in development at the moment, it’s just a matter of waiting and enjoying the game for now!
